This image was a practice with my camera before I started taking shots, as you can see I did a rather bad job with the lightning plus due to positioning you can see my shadow at the bottom of the image.

Line up

I purposely took this picture of the cards on my windowsill. I wanted to give off a slightly messy look and the dust that gathered on the windowsill helped. 

Ace of Cats

This Image happened by accident, I was passing through the living room with my cards and the ace slipped out of my hands and landed in front of my pet cat. since I did not place the card in front of him it looks more natural in a way.

Five of Spades

I experimented with different lighting on my camera and tested a basic white background using clear A4 paper. I really like the outcome of the photo, nice and clear.

The Idea for this image came from looking at stock photography images and I gave it a try. I had to place the card at an angle because the edges blended in with the background.

Four Ace's

A second shot which was originally all black and white but after looking it over I chose to colour the hearts and diamonds red. 

Poker Face

This was the first Image I took for the project. I am unsure myself if I used a correct term since I do not play poker so if four aces has a name in poker please inform me.

The Idea

I got the idea for this project after I watched a show on TV called penn and teller: Fool us, one of the magicians used a deck of cards and several tricks. It was at that point I came up with the Idea of placing any card from my own deck in normal everyday things and some planned things.
